Yemen is about watching life wither and turn to dust in front of your eyes, not because your hands cant keep hold of it but because it is obliterated by bombs, shattered by shrapnel, eviscerated by blast after blast of hate and vindictiveness.
In Yemen life is about resistance even when every fibre of your being is screaming to relinquish hope and succumb to grief.
In Yemen saying good bye is a daily occurrence, kissing your child's face, mingling your tears with their still-warm blood and wishing your breath could enter their body and bring them back to you one last time.
In Yemen the dust lives in your eyes and your mouth, grinding against your teeth like the gnawing hunger in your belly.
In Yemen hope is a crumb of stale bread or getting to the front of the queue for clean water.
In Yemen life has become a fight to retain every shred of dignity when your existence has been reduced to tattered remains of what you dreamed it would be.
In Yemen life is waking up every day to the cacophony of war, the orchestra of death and knowing you are alone.
In Yemen, resistance is all that is left because dying is better than kneeling before the snarling dogs of war.
In Yemen what is great and good in Humanity is a force that will never be subdued, this is Yemen and Yemen will prevail.
Up to 6,000 troops are being sent to invade and occupy Libya, seizing oilfields allegedly threatened by terrorists NATO armed and put into power in 2011. The London Telegraph, almost as a footnote, reports of a sizable Western military force being sent in on the ground to occupy Libya in an operation it claims is aimed at fighting the so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS). In its article, “Islamic State battles to seize control of key Libyan oil depot,” it reports:
Under the plan, up to 1,000 British troops would form part of a 6,000-strong joint force with Italy – Libya’s former colonial power – in training and advising Libyan forces. British special forces could also be engaged on the front line.
One would suspect a 6,000-strong foreign military force being sent into Libya would be major headline news, with debates raging before the operation even was approved. However, it appears with no debate, no public approval, and little media coverage, US, British, and European troops, including Libya’s former colonial rulers – the Italians – are pushing forward with direct military intervention in Libya, once again.
The Mirror’s “SAS spearhead coalition offensive to halt Islamic State oil snatches in Libya,” claims the West’s 6,000 soldiers face up to 5,000 ISIS terrorists – raising questions about the veracity of both the true intentions of the West’s military intervention and the nature of the enemy they are allegedly intervening to fight.
Military doctrine generally prescribes overwhelming numerical superiority for invading forces versus defenders. For example, during the the 2004 battle for the Iraqi city of Fallujah, the US arrayed over 10,000 troops versus 3,000-4,000 defenders. This means large, sweeping operations to directly confront and destroy ISIS in Libya are not intended, and like Western interventions elsewhere, it is being designed to instead perpetuate the threat of ISIS and therefore, perpetuate Western justification for extraterritorial military intervention in Libya and beyond.
With an initial foothold in Libya intentionally designed to last, it will inevitably be expanded, supporting US AFRICOM operations throughout the rest of North Africa.
The US-British Are “Fighting” the Terrorists They Put in Power
As has been explained by geopolitical analysts since 2011, terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda and their various rebrandings are far from being the West’s true adversaries. Besides being funded, armed, and backed by the West’s closest and oldest Middle Eastern allies – particularly the Saudis and Qataris – these terrorist organizations serve a two-fold purpose. First, they serve as a mercenary army with which the West fights targeted nations by proxy. Second, they serve as a pretext for direct Western military intervention when proxy war fails or is not an option.
This was first illustrated with the very inception of Al Qaeda in the 1980’s where it was used as a proxy force by the US and Saudis to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. In 2001, the presence of Al Qaeda in Afghanistan was used as a pretext for a US invasion and occupation that endures to this very day.
As of 2011, literally these very same terrorists were organized, armed, funded, and provided with NATO aircover to overthrow the government of Libya. From there, they were rearmed and shipped to NATO-member Turkey where they then invaded northern Syria, and more specifically Idlib and the pivotal city of Aleppo.
The Business Insider would report in its article, “REPORT: The US Is Openly Sending Heavy Weapons From Libya To Syrian Rebels,” that:
The administration has said that the previously hidden CIA operation in Benghazi involved finding, repurchasing and destroying heavy weaponry looted from Libyan government arsenals, but in October we reported evidence indicating that U.S. agents — particularly murdered ambassador Chris Stevens — were at least aware of heavy weapons moving from Libya to jihadist Syrian rebels. There have been several possible SA-7 spottings in Syria dating as far back as early summer 2012, and there are indications that at least some of Gaddafi’s 20,000 portable heat-seeking missiles were shipped before now.
On Sept. 6 a Libyan ship carrying 400 tons of weapons for Syrian rebels docked in southern Turkey. The ship’s captain was “a Libyan from Benghazi” who worked for the new Libyan government. The man who organized that shipment, Tripoli Military Council head Abdelhakim Belhadj, worked directly with Stevens during the Libyan revolution.
The Business Insider’s mention of Abdelhakim Belhaj working directly with Ambassador Stevens is particularly important. Belhaj was quite literally the leader of US State Department-listed foreign terrorist organization, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) – Al Qaeda in Libya. Despite his obvious ties to Al Qaeda, he was openly backed by the US during the 2011 Libyan War, and afterward, was posing for pictures with US senators including Arizona senator John McCain in the aftermath of NATO’s regime change operations. LIFG’s leader, Abdelhakim Belhadj, is now reportedly also a senior leader of ISIS in Libya.
Fox News in a March 2015 report titled, “Herridge: ISIS Has Turned Libya Into New Support Base, Safe Haven,” would claim:
Herridge reported that one of the alleged leaders of ISIS in North Africa is Libyan Abdelhakim Belhadj, who was seen by the U.S. as a willing partner in the overthrow of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.“Now, it’s alleged he is firmly aligned with ISIS and supports the training camps in eastern Libya,” Herridge said.
It is clear that the West is not fighting ISIS, but instead, has clearly both created it and is intentionally perpetuating it to help justify its military and geopolitical maneuvering across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and advance its aspirations toward regional and global political, military, and economic hegemony.
The very same technicals – armed trucks used in combat – bearing the Libyan “rebel” insignia, have literally just been painted over by images of ISIS’ flag, like props on a Hollywood set being used in a bad sequel. With the US-British and European intervention in a destroyed Libya overrun by terrorists – a Libya we were promised by NATO was bringing brought peace, stability, “freedom,” and “democracy” with its 2011 intervention, we see fully the danger of entrusting other nations to a similar fate wrought by Western intervention – most notably Syria.
The United States Forces Korea (USFK) will deploy U.S. Army Gray Eagle combat drones in the event of a war on the Korean Peninsula, officials said Wednesday.
"In wartime, the USFK 2nd Infantry Division will operate the Gray Eagle," an official at the ROK-U.S. Combined Division told reporters on condition of anonymity.
The move is part of countermeasures against North Korea's latest nuclear test conducted on Jan. 6.
The USFK is operating two types of reconnaissance drone here, the Raven at the battalion level and the Shadow at the brigade level. Combat drones are not currently deployed.
The Gray Eagle Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) is capable of high-definition surveillance. It can carry four Hellfire air-to-ground anti-armor missiles, allowing it to hit key facilities in North Korea.
"It would take about a day for Gray Eagles to arrive on the peninsula from the U.S. mainland, if transported by a C-17 transport plane," another military official noted.
Measuring eight meters in length with a 17 meter wingspan, the MQ-1C Gray Eagle has an endurance of up to 25 hours, an operating altitude of up to 25,000 feet and payload capacity of over 1,000 pounds, according to manufacturer General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI).
The combat drone was used in exercises in August 2015 at Gunsan Air Base in North Jeolla Province.
At the time, the Gray Eagle UAS streamed video and metadata via a line-of-sight data link directly to a U.S. Army AH-64 Apache helicopter from extended distances. The Apache subsequently was able to re-transmit the imagery to a One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT), allowing ground forces to view the video, according to GA-ASI.
Then, field commanders were able to receive both live Gray Eagle streaming video and the re-transmitted video sent by the Apache. Once the Gray Eagle was airborne, U.S. ground forces passed contact reports and target coordinates to operators in the aircraft's One System Ground Control Station (OSGCS). The operators were then able to direct the Gray Eagle's sensors to positively identify and track targets, GA-ASI added.
Following the exercise, some observers raised the possibility that the USFK was planning to deploy the Gray Eagle permanently on the peninsula.
A USFK official refused to elaborate on details, only saying "We don't comment on the USFK's operational capabilities."
In the wake of the North's fourth nuclear test, Seoul and Washington have continued to discuss the additional dispatch of U.S. strategic assets, according to Defense Ministry spokesman Kim Min-seok.
On Jan. 10, the U.S. flew a B-52 Stratofortress strategic bomber over South Korea in a show of force aimed at deterring the repressive state from further military provocations.
Observers say the next move from the U.S. forces would be to send the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan, F-22 Raptor stealth fighters or B-2 stealth bombers.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday begins a two-day visit to Paris. Rouhani in the French capital will come from Italy, where he met with the president and prime minister, and had a meeting with Pope Francis in Vatican.
Rowhani's visit to France was originally scheduled for November 16-18, 2015, but then was postponed due to a series of terrorist attacks that shook Paris on 13 November killed more than 130 people.
Iran January 16 got rid of most of the sanctions imposed on the country - the day of the IAEA submitted a report confirming the readiness of the authorities to implement the country created for her by long negotiations on the program a significant reduction of its nuclear potential. Later, the EU and US have confirmed Iran's withdrawal from the economic and financial sanctions related to its nuclear program.
Removing sanctions against Iran, in particular, to reopen the country's access to the international banking system, which will allow Iran to buy abroad previously unavailable goods - such as airplanes, automobiles, industrial equipment and medicines.
During Rouhani's visit to Italy on January 25-26, the country has signed a number of trade agreements for a total amount of 15 to 17 billion euros, including the construction of the pipeline. It is expected that during the Paris of the European trip Rowhani also signed several important business agreements for Iran.
The program of the visit
The first day of the visit will be devoted to meetings with representatives Rouhani French business circles. First, the Iranian leader will meet with 20 representatives of the Medef, the French Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Participation in this event will also French Prime Minister Manuel Valls. Besides this, Rowhani will meet tete-a-tete with the heads of Airbus and Total.
It is expected that during the visit of Rouhani in Paris to sign an agreement between the two companies and Iran Air Airbus on the purchase of 114 aircraft.
According to the source agency Sputnik in the airline Iran Air, supply 114 passenger planes from Airbus to Iran will be fully completed by the end of June. On Sunday, Iran announced that it intends to purchase all in Europe more than 160 aircraft.
Another significant event during the visit to Paris Rowhani, experts say, will sign an agreement to launch a joint project automotive group PSA Peugeot and the Iranian car manufacturer Khodro. Investments of each of the parties are estimated at hundreds of millions of euros.
Willingness to return to the Iranian market also expressed another French automaker Renault, which has stopped its own production in Iran in 2013, but considers this country a strategic market for himself and hopes to re-sign the agreement on the localization of production in Iran of its new models.
In the second day of his visit, the Iranian leader to visit the Elysee Palace, where he will meet with French President Francois Hollande. During the meeting, it is also expected to sign a number of agreements, which will initiate a new era of relations between the two countries after the lifting of sanctions against Iran.
In addition, according to some media reports, on Thursday may also signed an agreement on the development of three Iranian airports: of Bouygues, ADP pretend to get the joint contract for the development of the airport in Tehran, and the company Vinci - two other airports, including Mashhad.
Due the involvement of the US in South Korea and their vast coverage and control of the Medias in South Korea like Radio Free Asia are spreading and creating hostilities between both Korean countries to prevent unity and seek for union and independance of anglo-saxon occupation and influence of the nation and region.
I've seen a disturbing amount of hatred towards North Korea with an almost trend and demonization to all cost without questioning how ridiculous some of those claims are. The majority of such hatefilled and dispicable news come from South Korea which today for non asians and non korean people can be directly compared with Ukraine with its blatant idiotic claims and news reporting against Russia of invasion, using nukes against ukraine, using armata tanks, the nonsense amount of reports of russian "terrorists" all ordered and paid by putin himself to harm sovereignity of ukraine etc pp. South Korea matches Ukraine in ridiculouse news and the hatefilled propaganda against their own nation and people under the directive of the US and harming own national interests aswell security.
Among such ridiculous news about North Korea, how evil, totalitarian, bad place to live and how evil Kim yong Un is you can find constantly retarded propaganda of Kim Yong Un alledgey ordering deaths by artillery, death squads or Anti aircraft guns and ridiculous alike for sleeping officers or his wife which all turned out days after on camera to be well and alive.
Western DPRK Propaganda: The Worst, Occasionally Hilarious, and Often Racist, Lies
Famous Singer executed by firing squad!
This isn’t even the first time something like this has happened. Kim Jong Un’s wife was widely said to be “purged”, but then shows up days later, alive and well.2
North Koreans forced to get Kim Jon Un-style haircuts!
Recent visitors to the country say they’ve seen no evidence of any mass haircutting. North Korea watchers smell another imaginative but uncorroborated rumour.
Radio Free Asia, ah yes, famously impartial federally-funded organisation established by an act of the U.S congress citing “unnamed” sources.
For an announcement this official apparently coming from the Workers’ Party itself, you would expect Rodong Sinmun, the Korean Central News Agency, or the Voice of Korea — all official government organs — to issue a statement on the matter. But, alas, not a peep.
Photos of suggested hairstyles posted outside women’s hair salons — the kind allow a customer to show her hairdresser what she wants — are regularly depicted by foreign media as showing the only sanctioned styles North Korean women can choose from.
Images that would garner nary a note before falling into obscurity if they were taken south of the border are sensationalised beyond belief as soon as the exceedingly lucrative “Location: The Axis of Evil” tag can be attributed to it.
Slow news day? Feeling creative? Why not engorge your hit counter, pockets, and the frothing-at-the-mouth jingoism of your readership, and concoct a fantastical tale of the Rogue State!
Football Squad Tortured for Loosing!
It’s Radio Free Asia again, folks! This time one of their anonymous sources said “they were subjected to a session of harsh ideological criticism […] in front of 400 people”4. This makes no sense though. Loosing a match of football isn’t an ideological matter. It sounds (and it is) like a bad parody of the popular consciousness regarding the DPRK.
The very same source then went on to contradict themselves just a couple sentences later, saying “how the players were reprimanded and what kind of punishment they received wasn’t known”.4
A second anonymous source in the article stated that “There are rumours that coach Kim Jung Hun has been expelled from the Workers’ Party, or that he has been sent to perform forced labor at a residential building construction site in Pyongyang, but such rumors are hard to verify”.4
Another variant of this rumour, this time an old one resurfacing again after first appearing in 1966, said that the punishment for loosing was in fact forced labour in a coal mine.5
Famously reliable Asian Football Confederation chief Mohamed Bin Hammam jumped on the rumour mill. Although he noted that when he met several DPRK team members “I haven’t seen anything with my eyes or heard anything with my ears”, he mentioned an “unconfirmed report” (read: baseless lie) that “these players have gone through torture or something like that”.6
FIFA decided to investigate the matter. Unsurprisingly they concluded that the reports were “baseless”, and that “training was as usual”. “With all of the information at hand, and having checked all of its sources, Fifa has decided to close the matter”.7 After loosing the North Korean football were rewarded, and seen enjoying, barbecues and massages.5
Yet another rumour flying around for the 2010 world cup was that the supporters of the DPRK were paid Chinese actors. For this one, there weren’t even any anonymous sources given.8
Football Team Won 2014 World Cup Final!
Amidst the football frenzy as the next world cup rolls around, the imperialist media conjures up another topical lie:9
Lack of information could make some people believe just about anything, even the most absurd of rumours. If further proof of that was needed, the latest example is a North Korean video assuring viewers that North Korea has secured a place in the World Cup final in Brazil after routing every one of its rivals. The sad fact is that the team actually failed even to qualify for the tournament. Nevertheless, foreign media somehow took it for granted that North Koreans could so easily be misled. Lots of authoritative news agencies and newspapers “swallowed” the hoax news and rushed to report that the North Korean government was fooling its people.
This lie was astoundingly shallow:9
To the attentive eye, the “hoax” carried a few obvious inconsistencies. First, North Korean television has broadcast all the key World Cup matches, which means that North Koreans definitely know which teams played each other and will sooner be watching the Germany-Argentina title match live on Sunday night, rather than waiting for the mythical North Korea-Portugal final.
Second, the presenter’s lips weren’t completely in sync with the apparent soundtrack, suggesting that the original speech was different.
Third, the voice-over bears a southern, rather than northern, accent and actually sounds a lot like a southerner trying to imitate a North Korean TV presenter.”
but it didn’t stop it being widely reported by The Mirror, The Metro, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and the Toronto Sun, to name just a few (some of them have since updated their articles). As of the time of writing the original video has 6.7 million hits. Taking into account the hits on the various articles around the web would add millions more.
Israel has no more right to self-defense against Palestinians than Germans had a right to self-defense against the French and other partisan resistances in WWII.
As Nazarath-based journalist Jonathan Cook points out in a recent article: “Israel is occupying and besieging Gaza, conferring on its inhabitants a right under international law to fight for their freedom. How does the oppressor, the lawbreaker, have a right to self-defense? If Israel objects to being scratched and bruised, it should stop choking its victim.”
When others within the world ar being bombed for his or her brutality, the Saudi's ar lavished by world leaders attributable to their power within the geographic region and their possession of the earth destroying oil below their feet.
